My very first blog!
Well... here we go. Inspired by a family member, I've decided (in the last 20 minutes) that I should start a blog about my baby girl, Mia. I've decided this since I haven't exactly kept up with the entries in Mia's various baby books, and am constantly barraging friends and family members with pictures of Mia via email (and when I don't, I am barraged with demanding emails, which always makes me smile) .
So anyways, I hope whoever reads this will enjoy my adventures with Mia as much as I do. She's a wonderful kid, and she constantly amazes me and makes my life a pleasure. She is running around, climbing on everything in sight, and repeating a kind of ridiculous number of words. She's the light of our lives, and makes everyone she sees smile.
My child also definitely knows what she wants and how to convey those feelings to us. She loves to point to the spot on the table where she'd like us to put whatever we may be holding (be it a yogurt, a toy, or a cell phone) to let us know exactly where she'd like it. I would be lying if I didn't say that Mia is just a little bit bossy. I cannot imagine where she got from (pause for laughter from my friends and family). She also loves to pat the floor (or chair, or bed, or whatever) where she'd like us to sit and say "shhheet, shhheet." It's pretty hilarious. She's pretty much a constant source of entertainment for us (and herself).
She loves animals, and knows a LOT of their sounds. I'll try to video tape her doing all of her animal impressions soon and post it on here.
I hope I'll keep up with this, because it would be a great record for us, and I know at least her grandmothers will enjoy it. :)
